What is bucket elevator？

Bucket elevator, a transport equipment that continuously transports materials on traction parts such as belt or chain, is also often used in Raymond mill sets to elevate grinding powder. It is used for vertical direction or near vertical large inclination direction, continuous lifting of loose particles or broken pieces of materials conveying machinery. It has the characteristics of simple structure, small footprint, large lifting height, smooth working, low noise, fast speed, etc. The bucket elevator of flour mill equipment is one of them.

The working principle of bucket elevator

The bucket elevator conveying working principle is: the hopper scoops up the material from the storage below, lifts it to the top with the conveyor belt or chain, turns downward after bypassing the top wheel, and the bucket elevator dumps the material into the receiving tank. The drive belt of belt-driven bucket elevator generally uses rubber belt, which is mounted on the lower or upper drive drum and the upper and lower redirecting drum. Chain-driven bucket elevators are generally equipped with two parallel drive chains, with a pair of drive sprockets on the top or bottom and a pair of redirecting sprockets on the bottom or top. Bucket elevators are generally equipped with a housing to prevent dust from flying in the bucket elevator.
