Gypsum-Raymond Mill Materials

Generally refers to raw gypsum and hard gypsum. Raw gypsum is calcium sulfate dihydrate (CaSO4-2H2O) with Mohs hardness of 2. After calcination and grinding, β-type hemihydrate gypsum (2CaSO4-H2O) can be obtained, i.e. construction gypsum and cooked gypsum. Hard gypsum is anhydrous calcium sulfate (CaSO4) with Mohs hardness of 3~3.5. Gypsum is a widely used industrial and construction material for cement retarder, construction products, model making, sulfuric acid production, paper filler, paint filler, etc.

Processes

Gypsum powder making is generally divided into four types: coarse powder processing (0-3mm), fine powder processing (20 mesh-400 mesh, ultra-fine powder processing (400 mesh-1250 mesh) and micro powder processing (1250 mesh-3250 mesh).

Processing Flow

Phase I: Shattering

Large pieces of gypsum are crushed by the crusher to the feed fineness (15mm-50mm) that can enter the mill.

Second stage: Grinding

The crushed small pieces of gypsum are sent to the silo by the elevator, and then sent into the grinding chamber of the mill for grinding evenly and quantitatively by the vibrating feeder.
GQ series Raymond mill can be used for fine powder processing,
GQ ring roller micro powder mill and GQ ultra-fine vertical mill can be used for ultra-fine powder processing;

The third stage: classification

After grinding, the gypsum powder is graded by the powder selector, and the unqualified powder is graded by the powder selector and returned to the mill mainframe for regrinding.

Fourth stage: Powder collection

The gypsum powder that meets the fineness enters the dust collector with the airflow through the pipe for separation and collection, and the collected finished powder is sent to the finished product silo by the conveying device through the discharge port, and then packaged uniformly with the powder loading tanker or automatic baler.
