Traditional pendulum mills, rod mills and other crushing equipment are crushing equipment in the form of ring-roll crushing combined with airflow screening and pneumatic conveying. Their crushing performance increasingly reflects its own limitations, mainly in the following aspects :

(1) The stand-alone production capacity is low. For example, the pendulum pulverizer is only 1.5~1.8t/h, which cannot meet the requirements of mass production.

(2) The operating cost is high. The total operating cost of the pendulum mill is about 35 yuan/t, which is high and seriously affects the economic benefits of the enterprise.

(3) It takes up a lot of space. The output of traditional milling equipment is low. Under a certain output demand, the number of equipment used is large, the occupation of the workplace is large, and the land resources are extremely precious today.

(4) Environmental conditions are poor. Conventional milling equipment is noisy during production, and running and dust emission are serious, which affects the industrial environment. Although the production process has been greatly improved in recent years, it can only be alleviated and cannot be eradicated. Therefore, under this background, a good environmental protection vertical pulverizer has been produced.

In view of the many shortcomings of traditional grinding equipment, some mineral grinding research pioneers at home and abroad have carried out many useful explorations, and then launched a vertical grinder. The vertical pulverizer embodies the advanced technology of German crushing equipment. In recent years, my country has introduced this technology and gradually digested and perfected it. At present, the production technology is very mature. The processing mesh is between 0.25~0.026mm (60~550 mesh), and the production capacity per unit time Between several tons to tens of tons per hour. Compared with domestic traditional milling equipment, it has incomparable advantages.


The entire crushing process of the vertical grinder is carried out in a closed space. The biggest difference from the traditional Raymond machine is the negative pressure dust removal production instead of the positive pressure air supply production, which effectively prevents the dust generated during the crushing process from being blown out. The air outlet uses a powerful PPCS-64 dust collection device. This dust collection device can also absorb the dust from the discharge outlet, so that the working environment and sanitation of the factory area are effectively and reliably guaranteed. According to the production statistics and environmental testing of CITIC Dameng, the dust loss rate of the Raymond machine is 4%, while that of the vertical mill is 2.5%~2.8%, which is 1.2~1.5 percentage points lower; the Raymond machine workshop The running powder rate of the factory is 178.2mg/m3 (standard cubic meter), and the powder running rate of the vertical mill workshop is 75.6mg/m3 (standard cubic meter).


Vertical pulverizers are currently mainly used for the processing of coal, calcium carbonate and other minerals, and the production technology is mature. The failure rate is low, the equipment operation integrity rate can reach more than 98%, and the production efficiency is high. For example, the grinding capacity of HRM1580 can reach 16~20t/h, and the grinding capacity of HRM2000 can reach 30~35t/h.
The vertical mill has high production efficiency, fewer operators, and relatively low labor costs. Taking HRM1580 as an example, its milling production capacity reaches 16-20t/h, which is equivalent to the production capacity of 10 sets of 4R3216 pendulum roller Raymond machines. At the same time, the HRM1580 vertical mill has a high degree of automation, and all controls are carried out on the power distribution control panel. Two people in the main workshop of a HRM1580 vertical mill can operate and produce, which is comparable to the use of Raymond machines. Compared with each class, at least 6~8 people can be reduced. In addition, the vertical mill has high reliability and good stability, and generally requires little maintenance, and does not require many fitters for maintenance. Generally speaking, a vertical mill is equipped with 2~3 fitters and electricians.

The vertical mill has high reliability and good stability, which directly reduces the amount of maintenance, thereby directly reducing the cost of maintenance materials. Generally, under normal production conditions, the more direct cost of maintenance materials for vertical mills is the replacement and maintenance of wearable parts such as grinding rollers and grinding discs. However, after the roller sleeve is worn to a certain extent, it can also be turned over and reused to prolong the service life of the roller sleeve. When the wear of the roller sleeve reaches the limit, the output of the mill drops sharply, and when the mill is operating under severe conditions, it is necessary to stop replacing the new roller sleeve liner. Under normal circumstances, the service life of a set of grinding rollers and liners is about 1,800 to 2,300 hours, and the total grinding capacity can reach 40,000 to 45,000 tons, and the effect is obvious.
